  i laughed.

  well super is now 2.49 in los angeles.

  Gas is up to $3.39 per gallon here. At this point, $2.50 per gallon would be a bargain.

  there's plenty of evidence that tobacco has cancer causing agents and can thus be deemed a defilement of the flesh.. .

  In reference to Bangalores letter - Holy Crap! I distinctly remember reading something in a Watchtower about how a person must go to the authorities and turn himself in if he has committed a crime.

  I don't think marijuana should be illegal, nor should its use be a DFing offense. But I'm a dirty hippie at heart, even though I've been drug free for well over a decade.

  Miraculous news about my daugher, Ali

  it's a little over a year since my daughter was diagnosed with end stage congestive heart failure due to a virus.

  her dr. was talking heart transplant then.. i almost lost her 3 times over the past year due to complications.

  2011 was a tough year to put it mildly.

  New Locks on the Door

  i have to say that when my father in law asked us for a key to our apartment with the idea of "helping" my sick wife i did not like the idea at all.

  my wife was all for it though so against my protests she went ahead and gave him one.

  well with him behaving more and more like a junkie things have finally come to an ugly head.. a little background info.... my wife's dad has been on heavy pain meds for decades now.

  once she made chocolate chip cookies using bacon grease instead of butter.

  she claimed they were delicious, but no one else wanted to eat them.

  Sadly, the bacon grease was slightly rancid. Sister Thrifty saves everything, even long past its use by date. I have no idea how long it takes for bacon grease to go rancid, I keep mine in the refrigerator and only reuse it if it's less than a week old. Otherwise it goes in the garbage on trash day.

  okay, so i am new to the site, but i have been following ur threads for awhile now, and i am finding great comfort in them!

  no, i am not a witness and i have never been, and never will be!

  i did however, date a witness for about three years.. it was our typical 357th biweekly 'man hating' girls night out, and meeting mr. right was the last thing on my mind!
